Reprezent style themselves as “the voice of young London”, and this station, established in 2011, have an incredibly strong community focus in their ethos, part of the reason why they seemed so attractive over at Winzum. Vandelay Radio
At Winzum we love it when innovation combines with passion, and these are exactly the ingredients that have gone into Vandelay Radio. The station is a great example of how modern technology can be used to, in their own words, “take away all the barriers that somewhat restrict talent”.
Funnily enough, the story begins in a Swansea student house, where the Vandelay team decided to create their own Internet radio station with the intention of “breaking the monotony of music we were constantly hearing in Swansea”. Their creative thinking paid dividends, as they now have their own respected station only playing the music they love. Nice!
